Who we are
Hull Bearings is an independent visitor guide to Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, published by Faulty Compass. We list museums, attractions, places to stay, places to eat and the region's bars and nightlife, alongside a what's-on diary and occasional written pieces.

Partnerships & sponsored content
We accept a limited amount of sponsored content. If you would like to discuss a partnership, get in touch at PR@HullBearings.co.uk and tell us what you have in mind.
Two things worth knowing up front, because they are not negotiable:
- Sponsored posts are always labelled. They carry a visible
"Sponsored" tag and a disclosure line at the top of the article, and any links
within them are marked
rel="sponsored nofollow"so they pass no search ranking value. - Payment does not buy a listing or a position. Our venue listings are chosen independently, and paying for a post does not move a venue up a page, into a category, or onto the home page.
This is how we stay useful to visitors, which is the only reason anyone would want to advertise with us in the first place.

Most things are quicker to do yourself, and won't sit in an inbox:
- Adding your business — use the list your business form. It's free, and we review every submission before it appears.
- Adding an event — use the submit an event form.
- A correction — if something on the site is out of date or wrong, please tell us at Location@HullBearings.co.uk and we'll fix it.

Using our name and logo
You're welcome to refer to Hull Bearings and link to us. Please don't alter the logo, or present Hull Bearings as endorsing a product or venue unless we have agreed that in writing.
